I'm a truck driver and I stay at a hotel 2-4 days of every week... This hotel was the dirtiest by far! But .. I'll say this .. The bed was clean and very comfortable with good pillows.. And the a/c was phenomenal! The front desk guy is working hard 24/5 .. And I respect that! If you just need a place to sleep that's super cheap - this is it!
My husband and I are very grateful to the owner and his wife for gracefully letting my husband and I get our room under the situation we were in and had to get money sent to us. Very understanding. The room is great, the accommodations are very welcomed.
I don't usually post anything negative about any place, but this is an exception. This place looks decent, even good, on the exterior, but the inside is terrible. If you are just passing through that area and just need a cheap overnight stay, I recommend your vehicle in Wal-Mart parking lot over this place. I tried this place only for three hours on my way from Florida to Loma, Ohio. After 18hours of driving, I left and found another motel. Beware.
Lost my wallet on Greyhound and the owner was nice to go ahead and let my wife and I have our room till we were able to find someone to wire some money. Room was nice and smelled great. Sure it's and older motel and we will stay here again.
If you're looking for luxury this isn't the place for you but if you just need a place to chill for the night, look no further. While the building itself is pretty creepy & in need of a lot of repairs, our room was clean & had all the amenities and everyone from the staff was very friendly. There were also people there doing maintenance work when we arrived, so I'm led to believe that the owner is actively trying to improve things. Location is very convenient to the highway but there isn't much else around aside from the Waffle House next door. The people there were also very friendly.
